An 11-day circle drive from Vancouver highlighting the scenery, wildlife and adventure of Vancouver Island and the British Columbia Coast. This classic itinerary explores the Canadian Coastal cities of Victoria, Tofino, Parksville, Quadra Island and the Sunshine Coast. And the adventure carries with it the scent of the fresh sea breeze and the amazing ability to relax the soul. Arrive
in Vancouver and collect your rental vehicle for your journey to Victoria,
including a 90-minute ferry ride through the scenic Gulf Islands. Journey
time to Victoria is approximately four hours without stops. If you are arriving
from an international flight or in the late evening we suggest you overnight
in Vancouver prior to commencing your journey. Brentwood Bay Lodge &

the Island Highway north to Nanaimo and then drive west to the island’s
Pacific Coast and the town of Tofino. With sightseeing stops, we recommend
allowing six hours for today’s drive. Long Beach Lodge is a luxurious
resort set amongst towering trees, taking full advantage of the rugged coastline
and long sandy beach. First-class service will welcome you to a relaxed,
informal setting, where you will enjoy exhilarating activities or simply

Enjoy a full-day marine excursion to the north end of Clayoquot Sound. Here a short boardwalk trail will take you to natural sulphur hot springs where you can enjoy a truly magical soak. Whales are frequently sighted during the journey, and marine stops may include a sea cave, black bear viewing, an eagle’s nest and a seabird-nesting island. A short journey today back across-island to Parksville. En route consider a stop at Sprot Lake Provincial Park and Coombes, where you might find goats grazing on the grass-covered roof of the local store. you set off from the resort in a 17-foot Boston Whaler on a four-hour fishing
trip in the waters of Discovery Passage with an experienced guide. Whether
you are a beginner or an experienced angler, your guide can set the hooks,
offer new tips and techniques, and help you reel in the catch you have been
waiting for. Back at the dock, your guide will weigh, clean and package
your catch so it is ready for you to take. Swap fish tales, watch for wildlife
and soak up the stunning scenery as you drop your line into the salmon-rich
waters of the "Salmon Capital of the World." All equipment is

From
Quadra Island return to Campbell River and journey southbound on Highway
19 to Little River for your ferry to Powell River. Head south on Provincial
Route 101 towards Saltery Bay for the ferry to Earls Cove. It is only a
short drive from here to Egmont on the Sunshine Coast. You will find unforgettable
adventure at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge. Relax and unwind during your
two-night stay tucked away amongst majestic cedars and firs, featuring spectacular
views of the Pacific Coast. Overnight at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge.
Explore
the waters with a guided kayaking adventure, which is included during your
vacation. The area surrounding the lodge is a pool of oceanic and terrestrial
life and everyday as the tide floods and ebbs, the scenery and wildlife

Travel back by car along Provincial 101 to Langdale Bay for the ferry to Horseshoe Bay. Your vacation ends on arrival in Vancouver and the return of your rental car. Journey time to downtown Vancouver is four hours.
